mediarips provides a tool to extract and download media (photos, videos, audio) and captions from publicly available posts on supported platforms, and to retrieve transcripts from publicly available YouTube videos. The Service only works on content the original poster has made publicly accessible; it does not bypass account logins, private settings, or paywalls.

Fair Use — Personal Archiving Only

You agree to use the Service only for lawful, personal purposes, such as archiving or offline backup of content you have the right to access, and only where doing so does not infringe copyright.

Intellectual Property & DMCA Notices

mediarips respects the intellectual property rights of others. We do not host or permanently store any media files; content is streamed directly from the original source at the time of your request.

If you are a copyright holder and believe that content accessible through mediarips infringes your rights, or you would like specific content blocked from extraction, please send a notice to contact@mediarips.com including: (1) identification of the copyrighted work, (2) the specific URL(s) involved, (3) your contact information, and (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized. We will review and respond to valid notices promptly.

No Affiliation with Third-Party Platforms

mediarips is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Reddit, Pinterest, Vimeo, Dailymotion, VKontakte, YouTube, Meta, or any other platform referenced on this site. All product names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

Service Provided "As Is"

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Because mediarips depends on the APIs and page structures of third-party platforms that we do not control, those platforms may change without notice and cause temporary or permanent interruptions to extraction for some or all links. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that any particular content will always be extractable.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, mediarips and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including any content you download through it.
